areas of competition for that particular pageant. This is just an overview **
Areas of Competition (Vary by Pageant- 4 and older )
I. Personal Interview
Personal interviews will take place before the actual pageant begins. No one is allowed to be with you during your interview.
You need to wear a casual outfit, trendy yet classy or a business suit for this portion of the competition.
II. Opening Dance (Not scored)
You will be learning a choreographed opening dance number during the pageant practice. The required attire is to be announced in contestant packet
III. On-Stage Introduction
This is brief introduction about yourself. Keep under 1 minute . It may include your name, city, age, goals, favorite quote,
hobbies or something interesting about yourself.
IV. Fashion Wear
Fashion wear is something that you'd see in a magazine or on a model; something that is in style (your style) and flatters your
body and personality. No Plain Jeans and Be creative! Walk and outfit coordination will be judged.
V. Evening Gown
Your dress should also reflect your personality and be age appropriate. It could be a prom dress. Choose a dress that best flatters you and
one you feel comfortable in. Floor Length Perferred.
VI. On Stage Question (Pre-Teen and up)
Delegates will be asked a final onstage question for bonus points that will be added to their final score after all areas of competition
VII. Swim Wear
One peice is required for this and only a few pageants have it. (Baby/Toddler division)
